BIBLE MINISTRY
We believe in the importance of sharing the Word of God and making it accessible to everyone in our community. That’s why we regularly stock a Little Free Library with FREE BIBLES. Whether you’ve never owned a Bible, would like a copy to keep at home, or simply want to share one with someone else, you are welcome to take a copy. Our hope is that these Bibles find their way into the hands of people who need encouragement, hope, guidance, or simply want to learn more about God’s Word. Please stop by, take a Bible, and feel free to share one with someone who may need it.

FOOD MINISTRY
Food insecurity is something that can quietly affect people in every community. Sometimes a family needs a little extra help getting through the week, and sometimes a neighbor may simply find themselves facing an unexpected hardship. We believe that access to food should be simple, respectful, and available to everyone. We regularly stock The Little Free Pantry with shelf-stable foods and essential items to help make food more accessible to our community. There are no applications, no questions, and no judgment. If you need something, please stop by and take what you need. If you are able to give, consider donating shelf-stable food or other useful items to help keep the pantry stocked for the next person. We believe that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Our hope is that this pantry serves as a resource for our neighbors and a reminder that you are not alone, and our community cares. Take what you need & Donate what you can to help us keep the pantry going.

ROOTS & ROAM COLLECTIVE
Roots & Roam Collective is our children’s outreach ministry, created to give kids and families opportunities to learn, explore, serve, and grow together outside of the traditional classroom. Our prayer for this ministry comes from Ephesians 3:16–19 that our children would be strengthened in their hearts, rooted and grounded in love, and grow in their understanding of the depth of Christ’s love. We welcome parents and Children of ALL AGES to join us for a weekly Friday morning field trip 9am-11am CST. Each week, we explore something new within approximately two hours of Lee County, Alabama. From nature and agriculture to history, science, art, animals, local businesses, and other hands-on learning experiences. Roots & Roam is made up of a wonderful network of homeschool families, stay-at-home parents, and private-school families whose children are out of school on Fridays. We believe some of the best learning happens when kids can experience the world firsthand, ask questions, get their hands dirty, and learn alongside other children. More than anything, we want Roots & Roam to be a place where families can connect, explore, encourage one another, and grow together.

THE WILDFLOWER SOCIETY
The Wildflower Society is our Women’s Ministry. Women of All Adult Ages come together once a month to connect, get vulnerable, build meaningful friendships, pass wisdom and encourage one another. Life can be full. Between work, marriage, motherhood, family, friendships, and all of the responsibilities we carry, it can be easy to pour everything we have into the people around us and forget to make space to be poured into ourselves. The Wildflower Society is a place to pause. A place to come as you are. A place to laugh, talk, listen, and be honest. A place to build community and remind one another that we don’t have to do life alone. Our hope is that each woman leaves feeling encouraged, refreshed, connected, and recharged—ready to return home and continue pouring into the people God has entrusted to her.We meet on the first Friday of every month at 6:30 PM. To make sure there is something for everyone, our gatherings rotate between dinners, fun activities, and free community events. Wildflowers are rarely just alike, yet they are all beautiful. Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or you’re brand new to the area, whether you come with a group of friends or walk through the door by yourself, you are welcome here!

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS
Generosity is being willing to meet a need when God puts someone in our path. 25% of our donations go directly toward random acts of kindness in our community. Sometimes that looks like unexpectedly paying for someone’s groceries. Sometimes it’s helping fill someone’s gas tank, buying a meal, or stepping in when someone is facing an unexpected need. We don’t always know the whole story, and we don’t believe we need to. When the Holy Spirit prompts us to help, we want to be willing to say yes. Our hope is to quietly love our neighbors in practical ways, without recognition or expectation. A simple act of generosity can remind someone that they are seen, valued, and cared for. Check our RECIPIENTS page to read through the stories!
NOMINATIONS
We believe that one of the most meaningful ways to serve our community is to come alongside people who are facing a season of need. 65% of the donations we receive goes directly to people nominated on our website by members of our community. Our Board of Directors review the nominations, consider the funds currently available, and prays over each request as we seek God’s direction about who we are able to help. We may not be able to meet every need, but we are committed to stewarding every donation thoughtfully and using what we have to make a meaningful difference.
You can visit our Recipients page to learn more about some of the individuals and families who have previously received Gods love through The Longbranch Foundation.
